St. Leonard’s Street
A pre-World War 1 postcard of St. Leonard’s Street, Lanark. As shown, the roads were not tarmacked at this point. The houses along this street were most likely constructed towards the end of the 19th century. Prior to this, the area of St. Leonard’s was predominantly grass fields.
