Carnwath Gala Parade

This is a picture of the Carnwath Gala Parade of 1905. This Gala included decorated bikes. In the early 20th century there was a fashion for such parades. For example, in 1913, for first motor show organised by Cox’s of Lanark featured decorated motor cars.
