Leadhills

Year: 1904

This card is an undivided back card which had been made by Archibald Brown of Lanark. The message had to be written on the front as the back was reserved for the address. Thankfully, this rule soon vanished.

This card was posted on April 18th, 1904 in Glasgow. The hotel mentioned is the Hopetoun Arms. I imagine that the carriage in the picture was owned by the hotel and used to collect people from the station.
