Year: 1904

This is a view of Lesmahagow done by Archibald Brown, a photographer from Lanark. This card was sent from Lesmahagow in 1904. At that time there was no public park.

The house in the picture are quite old and some date back to the 18th century and even from the 17th century. Some of these houses have bits of masonry in them from Lesmahagow Priory.
